I found this experience with peer review much easier and more helpful. Having marginal comments and suggestions made it easy to tell where needed the most work and where I could just lightly revisit. The most helpful marginal comments were related to my quote usage and integration, something which I aimed to work on the most during my revision process. The online format worked better for me as well, as I get used to my essay being in a particular format while I’m writing and tend to get lost when I print it out and try to find a specific passage.
